Konditorei Cafe Konfiserie Fromme in Cologne

Very, very tasty. I have to go to Cologne every time. That's probably the only reason I'm going to Cologne ...

Unfortunately, the cake is not always fresh. Have been there three times now and each time the cake was either hard or tasted old. The shop assistants are extremely stressed and really unfriendly. Was the last time I was there.

So there are definitely cleaner cafes. I'm also not really convinced that the cake is fresh every day. The cafe has dwindled more and more over the past few years. Unfortunately!

Is ok there

Great cakes, large selection of cakes and pastries. The filter coffee is fresh and full-bodied. Breakfast is also highly recommended. Quiches are super tasty. So far everything has tasted very good. We are looking forward to our next visit, hopefully in early December at the latest.

Rude service behind the cash register. Was dismissed with unfriendly comments. Coffee is okay, bee sting tastes strange and the chocolate tart is so hard as if it had been there for days.

Very large selection of delicious pies, cakes and pastries, if you can't find anything here, it's your own fault.

Latte macchiato was good, but I think a small cookie would have fit for € 3.20! Especially at a café that sells cakes. In addition, the toilet flushed very hard. Not exactly environmentally conscious either! The toilet lady didn't seem to mind

really nice environment & a variety of choices. in regard to taste, I wasn't THAT excited, but for the german standards I find it one of the best choices in Cologne as far as Konditorei-s are referred. Not cheap though. It was a good experience with the exception of the creepy looking old waitor who kept visiting the table without a reason. Was kinda unnecessary & annoying.

The older female waitress for the outside area was a disaster. Ignore guests and chat with friends on the street! Very dubious. And: no mask. Table was not cleaned correctly !!

Unfortunately totally unfriendly employee. Sits in the back with his cell phone without a face mask and regulates the clientele when they overlook the registration information, which is placed on paper plates in a highly professional manner. You only have to register if you use the toilet. Sounds strange, but it is so ... Coffee was ok! The waitress, who served outside, was however very nice !!!!!

Great place with great quality

Beautiful traditional café with heart and soul. Delicious pies. It's a shame that I don't live nearby, otherwise I would try the whole map.

Amazing traditional cakes

It is really unbelievable how you are attacked for a traditional pastry these days, instead of being glad that there are still companies that do not only use finished products. Regarding the unfriendliness of the staff, are you pilloried in the shop every day? You should also evaluate the appearance of the customers, because many would score with minus stars

I was in the cafe today and was able to get 4 delicious moor heads. I was served very friendly. I don't understand all the excitement and the vortex. I think it's nice that such traditions are cultivated. It has absolutely nothing to do with racism.

This place needs an urgent overhaul, neither the menu, nor the furniture has changed over the last 20 years. You can get nice cakes and breakfast there, but I'm afraid if the owners don't add a slight touch of modernity to their options, people under 40 might avoid this place in the future. Add more vegetables, some vegan options, poached eggs...you name it. Also, they should replace the furniture, it's long past it's heyday. The service is very friendly, the prices are reasonable, there's a nice terrace and the place is quite charming.

Terrible breakfast, catastrophic service, the same as the staff who work there, very slow, extremely over priced, you expect something more when you pay almost 40 Euros for breakfast for 2 persons. Don't waste your time and money here.

Don’t waste your time going for breakfast. Not great quality compared to what you can get in other places in Cologne. Cakes are okay, coffee not great and eggs are terrible. Only good thing is well located.

Very disappointent with the apfelstrudel. Tasteless.. i suggest going to Bastion around the corner

Friendly people, good tea, superb strudel and torten. Don't forget to look at the Roman ruins when you visit the WC.

As a lot of places in Germany, this one does no have the looks ( since the whole design-style reminds of early 80s) But! It certainly has the taste!! I recommend the handmade hot chocolate.

Lot of cakes choices

Cappucino € 3 is still acceptable, but no more than that. Pastries (about € 4.40) were disappointing. Cottage cheese (yogurt?) Point is not sweet enough and too lean in taste. Chocolate mousse with fruit can really better, not enough chocolate flavor. Very busy and noisy on Saturday. Great thing, so we found a place. The business seems to work as a production line of a factory, a big business and a few enthusiastic staff (almost rush). For the toilets you have to pay € 0.50 as a guest!

Good place to read, relax and have a good coffee. We enjoyed the peach pie from the picture, it was good, but nothing spectacular.

I really loved this place! The hot chocolate is the most delicious I had ever tasted ❤️. It’s funny, everybody is talking about cakes and I came here to say that I don’t love boiled eggs, but they made me LOVE them ?. It is a really comfortable place. :)

Nice pastry shop and a good selection of cakes and pastries. Located directly on Millowitsch Platz and a bit away from the usual tourist path. The coffee, however, could be a little stronger for my taste

Have a great breakfast here today! The price level is certainly lifted, but here is the quality in the prices in no way. Personally, I am very satisfied and good things from the cafe.
